Wearables selected as a top 10 U.S. business magazine
TREVOSE, PA – July 9, 2010 – The Advertising Specialty Institute today announced ASI publications garnered 14 Azbee Awards of Excellence in editorial and design from the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE).
ASI’s Wearables magazine was named a Top 10 Business Magazine of the Year. C.J. Mittica is editor of Wearables, a 2009 Folio Gold Award winner.
ASI publications Wearables, Counselor, Successful Promotions and Stitches won five national awards. In addition, Wearables, Successful Promotions, Advantages, Counselor and Stitches won nine regional awards in the Northeastern regional competition, which includes all business-to-business magazines based in New York City.
Other winning magazines in the 2010 competition include Bloomberg BusinessWeek, CFO, The Hollywood Reporter, Macworld and The American Lawyer. Winners will receive a gold, silver or bronze award at regional awards banquets around the country. Northeastern regional winners will be feted at ceremonies in Boston on July 22 and New York City on July 28.
ASBPE’s Azbee Awards of Excellence are one of the industry’s most competitive arenas for business-to-business, trade, association and professional publications. The awards recognize outstanding work by magazines, newsletters and digital media.
