ASI Holiday Preview Show Bets on Hot Items for the Gift-Buying Season

TREVOSE, PASeptember 15, 2010The ASI Show announced today that its Holiday Preview in Las Vegas beat the house in attracting distributors and suppliers eager to gather marketing and product ideas to help build momentum toward a strong close to 2010.

Featuring free education and tabletop exhibits, the ASI Holiday Preview Show took place at the Sands Expo Center Monday, September 13, and Tuesday, September 14. 

“Whether your clients are searching for eco-friendly items or high-tech electronics to motivate and reward employees and customers, odds are you found them at the ASI Holiday Preview,” said Timothy M. Andrews, president of The ASI Show and president and chief executive officer of ASI.  “Everywhere you looked you could find quality suppliers and impressed distributors.”

The show opened on Monday, September 13, with education sessions from 1 p.m to 5 p.m. led by industry expert David Blaise. The action-packed afternoon attracted more than 200 attendees. “Power Prospecting” and creating the “Ultimate Marketing Plan” were just a few of the hot topics discussed during the education program sponsored by Fields Mfg. (asi/54100).

More than 550 distributors attended the ASI Holiday Preview, where they had the opportunity to spend one-on-one time with top suppliers, including American Apparel (asi/35297), Fersten Worldwide (asi/53974), SanMar (asi/84863), Hit Promotional Products (asi/61125), Admints & Zagabor (asi/31516), Marathon/Prestige (asi/68707), Prime Resources (asi/79530) and Dard Products (asi/48500).

Exhibitors enjoyed steady traffic, myriad networking opportunities and exposure to quality distributors.

“The ASI Holiday Preview has been a great event,” said Maxine White, from Kool Trends (asi/65603). “We’ve met with many interested and enthusiastic distributors looking for hot items for the close of the year. We’ll benefit from our time spent here. I anticipate seeing new sales as a result.”
           
Distributors say ASI delivered a year-end punch at a time when they need it most.
