TREVOSE, PA – February 23, 2017 – The Advertising Specialty Institute® (ASI), which serves a network of 23,500 suppliers, distributors and decorators in the $22.9 billion promotional products industry, today announced it has promoted industry veteran Seth Kusiak to vice president of infrastructure and security services.
Mr. Kusiak is now responsible for the implementation and oversight of an expanded global security program for ASI, and spearheading the company’s compliance and insurance, governance, information security policies, incident response, risk analysis and security awareness. In addition, he is responsible for ASI’s “threat modeling,” which identifies, prevents and mitigates threats and vulnerabilities.
ASI’s flagship product, the technology platform ESP®, manages the industry’s entire supply and marketing chain.
“Security is of critical importance to ASI, and Seth will play a key role in delivering security solutions, mitigating risk and looking ahead to prepare us for tomorrow’s sophisticated threats,” said Armughan Rafat, the executive vice president of ASI and chief technology officer of the ASI Family of Companies.
Mr. Kusiak began working for ASI in 2001 as an infrastructure architect for ASI’s application delivery platform. His most recent promotion was in 2014 to assistant vice president of infrastructure. He reports directly to Mr. Rafat.
Prior to coming to ASI, Mr. Kusiak worked for a U.S. defense department as a contractor.
Mr. Kusiak lives in his native Philadelphia with his special needs brother. He’s a die-hard Philadelphia Flyers fan and fitness buff.
